Research Drives Mental Health

The United States is nearly two and a half centuries old, and we still do not have a solution to the Veteran suicide rate. It wasn’t until 2022 that Veterans were even identified as a culture in research. Hundreds of millions of dollars a year are raised in support of Veteran activities ranging from housing to activities to improve an individual’s quality of life by providing them an activity as a thank-you for their service.

Imagine if we stopped following the crowd, stopped spending tens of thousands of dollars on a single individual’s vacation or hunting excursion, and we were able to make real change! Funding critical and ethical Veteran mental health research not only works to improve mental health treatment, but a singular piece of research has the potential to change the lives of millions of Veterans.

  • The average cost to send one family to Disneyland is around $5,000.

  • A few hundred dollars can fund a research project and affect millions of families!
